A: We recognize the special needs of active
traders and accommodate through Terra Nova Elite Services.
This encompassing service provides an array of benefits,
including a private phone line to brokers strictly dedicated
to our Elite customers. For more information, please send

Q: Does Terra Nova send monthly account statements?
A: Monthly statements and trade confirmation
are available through our secure Client Center and can be
accessed through our Web site. These reports may be downloaded
to your computer where you may then print or save the statement.
For those who prefer mail, Terra Nova will happily send
your confirmations and monthly statements for a nominal
postage and handling fee.
Q: Am I able to view my statements and/or confirmations
online? If so, what time frame are my reports and statements
available for viewing?
A: Yes. To access these reports, log in
to the Terra Nova Client Center (using your user name and
password) and click on “confirms or monthly statement.”
The trading data reports are available for viewing everyday,
24 hours a day. The trade data from the previous trading
day is usually updated by 8:30 AM EST.
Q: What kind of account reports may I view online?
A: Terra Nova has created various reports
and statements to monitor and display all aspects of account
activity. The reports available through our secure online
Client Center are as follows:
Trade
Evaluator Report - examines your trades over a
variety of time spans, employing 9 different parameter groupings
to provide you with a better understanding of your trading
activity while identifying possible trends towards more
successful trades.
Profit/Loss
Report - shows the profits/losses for all trades
executed on one specific date or during a range of dates.
Track by position, whether it's closed or still opened.
Download to a spreadsheet for easy manipulation, processing
and tax reporting.
Account
Summary - Provides a summary of account positions
and balances in your portfolio on a particular trading day.
Cash
Activity - This area will allow you to view the
cash activity in your account such as wires, check deposits,
journal entries and fees incurred. In addition, you will
be able to view the sub-accounts involved, receive descriptions
of the activities and search by a range of transaction dates.
Comprehensive
Report - Choose any trading date to view your beginning
and ending equities, balances and positions. You will also
have access to your day trades and non-day trades for that
day with specific trade data, including maintenance requirements,
buying power, commissions and fees.
Confirmations
- View the confirmations of ALL your trade activity for
a given day without all the paper. (May not include trades
billed to your account "as of.")
Monthly
Statements - Access your monthly balances and activities
online without having to look for that paper statement.
These reports are available online for three months and
are in a PDF file able to be printed or saved to your records.
Note: In order to view these reports, you
must have been with Terra Nova Trading for at least a one-month
trading cycle.
Data
Download - This utility will build and allow you
to download your trading activity into a Quicken Interface
File (.QIF) ready to import into your Quicken Investment
Account or Microsoft Money. The Comma Delimited files will
import all of your pertinent trade data for a specified
time period into an Excel file.
Q: How long are my trading reports available through
TerraNovaTrading.com?
A: Terra Nova maintains an extensive database of
our customers’ trading data so that you can access
most of your old trading reports. Currently, Terra Nova
offers our customers the ability to view their trading reports
from 2001 and later through the Client Center.
Q: What if I need reports earlier than what is
offered online?
A: To access reports that are not available online
through the Client Center, please send e-mail to support@terranovatrading
detailing what reports you will need. Please include the
time frame and the data needed. Note that there may be a
fee to obtain archived reports.
Q: Does Terra Nova offer check-writing accounts?
A: Yes. To establish a check-writing account,
you will need to submit an Access Check-Writing Account
Application Package and a check for $100.00. Please note
that funds in your brokerage day trading account are not
available for check writing until they have been transferred
from the day trading account to the check-writing account.
Q: So once I receive my checkbooks in the mail,
I can start using them?
A: Checks may not be written against a
day trading account. Once the check-writing account is established,
free cash from the day trading account must be transferred
over to the check-writing account before any checks may
be written. This can be accomplished with a Journal Request
Form. Complete the form and fax it to the attention of Account
Services at 312-827-3696. Journal requests generally take
about 24 hours to fully process. |
